A big thank you to all who voted for me, encouraged me, and supported me in the amazing race for Brisbane City Council of 2005. I have learned so much by going through this process. Sally, Bert and I have made many great new friends. I will continue to stay involved with local affairs and try to meet all of the Brisbane people I didn’t get the chance to talk to during this campaign. I wish the best for our 'new' council (albeit made up of all former council members). I hope they work together, listen to the people, make firm decisions and show leadership. See you all at the coffee shop and the dog park.
